Shannon Community Partnership

We were absolutely delighted to partner with the Shannon Community Partnership for a special visit to St. Senan’s National School here in Shannon on Wednesday, January 21st, where our centre manager and team rolled up their sleeves for a day of tree-planting with the students. It was a lovely opportunity to step outside the centre and give back to the local community in a hands-on way.

The weather may not have been on our side, it was a very muddy day — but that certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. In fact, it only added to the fun! The children had an absolute blast getting stuck in, and the energy and enthusiasm on the day made it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.

As well as enjoying the activity, the students also learned how to plant trees properly and why it’s so important for the environment. Seeing their curiosity and excitement as they learned about sustainability and caring for their surroundings was incredibly rewarding for our team.

At Shannon Town Centre, we’re passionate about supporting our community and bringing people together wherever we can. Days like this remind us why these connections matter so much — and we’d happily sign up for many more just like it
